Valorant DPI is only one part of sensitivity
In Valorant, your mouse DPI combines with the game's sensitivity. A useful comparison value is eDPI, calculated by multiplying DPI by in-game sensitivity. This lets you compare two configurations without focusing on DPI alone.
Example
Suppose one configuration uses 800 DPI with 0.35 sensitivity. Its simple eDPI calculation is 280. A different DPI can produce the same eDPI when the sensitivity is adjusted accordingly.

Finding an unknown DPI
Check your mouse manufacturer's software first. If you want an independent browser estimate, use the Mouse DPI Analyzer and repeat several physical-distance trials.
Keep changes controlled
When tuning aim, avoid changing DPI, sensitivity and other input variables at the same time. Make a small change, practice under similar conditions, and record the result.
